2. What we process and why

Enquiries (phone, email, WhatsApp): name, contact details and content – to reply to you. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) or contract (b).

Bookings and inspections: Booking is handled via Synsdata (booking.synsdata.dk). For inspections we process vehicle, registration and owner/user data as required by Danish traffic law. Legal basis: legal obligation (c) and contract (b).

Motor office/plates: data from the registration form and certificate, for registration in the Danish Motor Register. Legal basis: legal obligation and contract.

Statistics and marketing: Only with your consent do we collect data on your use of the website (e.g. IP address, cookie ID, pages visited) for statistics and targeted advertising. Legal basis: consent (a).

3. Cookies

Necessary cookies: make the site work and remember your cookie choice. No consent required.

Statistics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics): set only with consent.

Marketing cookies (e.g. Google Ads, Meta): set only with consent.

We use Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode v2, so statistics and marketing tags only activate after consent. Your choice is stored for 12 months. You can change or withdraw consent at any time via “Manage cookies” at the bottom of the page.

4. Recipients and processors

We only share data with suppliers processing on our behalf under data processing agreements: hosting, Synsdata, Google (only with consent), and Danish authorities where required by law. Transfers outside the EU/EEA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

Enquiries are deleted when no longer relevant, typically within 12 months. Inspection reports and accounting records are kept as required by law (e.g. 5 years under the Danish Bookkeeping Act). Cookie consent is stored for 12 months.

6. Your rights
